Is it really possible to walk into a dental appointment with missing, damaged or diseased teeth and walk out a few hours later with a beautiful new smile? It is at Campbell Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center, where we have perfected our SINGLE-VISIT-SMILE system. You literally enter with a compromised smile and exit a bit later with a full upgrade.

The process relies on All-on-4 (or All-on-6) dental implants and cutting-edge technology. Dr. William Campbell is the leading All-on-4 provider in Columbus, GA and Phenix City, AL and the surrounding metro area. We begin by 3D scanning your entire oral cavity in advance of your appointment. The scans are then rendered as a detailed 3D model of your mouth that’s used to plan every aspect of your All-on-4 procedure in virtual reality. When you return for implantation, there’s no guesswork for us and no wasted time for you.

Whether you require full-mouth restoration to replace all your teeth or simply wish to upgrade from the inferior capabilities of dentures, we can meet your needs with our Single-Visit-Smile system.

What Is A Dental Implant?

A dental implant is a small titanium post that is surgically implanted into the upper or lower jawbone, where it serves as an anchor for various types of custom tooth restorations, such as a crown. A dental implant is the closest option available to a natural tooth root.

This is the dental work that becomes such an important fixture of your new smile. The crown is extremely durable and is designed to last decades.

The abutment sits close to the gum line and is affixed to the screw. The abutment holds the crown in place.

The screw is embedded below the gum line and acts as an anchor for the dental implant. The screw is made of titanium.

The Consequences Of Bone Loss

Missing and failing teeth unfortunately lead to shifting teeth and a shrinking jawline. This causes your face to look much older than you really are. This is due to the loss of height by your receding jaw that creates extra wrinkles and sagging tissue around your mouth.

Dental implants, not only keep you from losing your other natural teeth but they also help reestablish the height of your jaw and fill out areas of wrinkled and sagging tissue surrounding your mouth.
